Do I have to buy MaxiFi to use the Flight Check service?
Yes, you must purchase MaxiFi Standard or Premium to set up your plan before purchasing any additional service like Flight Check, Co-Pilot or Concierge.
What is your cancellation policy for scheduled services?
Appointments canceled more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or reschedule. Within 48 hours, customers may request a one-time reschedule or a partial refund. Refunds are not available within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment or for missed appointments. See our Order Fulfillment Policy for further details. Do I receive any information in advance that helps me prepare for my Flight Check?
Yes, the Brandts will send you a planning package in advance to help you prepare for the meeting.
Will both Brandts, Kara and Mark, conduct the Flight Check session?
The Brandts will both review your profile before the meeting, and both will make every effort to attend your session.
Do I have to set up my plan before a Flight Check session?
Yes, you will need to set up your plan before your session. If you would like full-service assistance including help inputting all your data, please consider the Concierge Service.
What if we don’t cover all my questions in the 60-minute session?
You can book another Flight Check or a more in-depth service like Co-Pilot or Concierge.
Is my data secure and will I have a recording of the session?
We follow best practices in the financial software industry to keep your data safe and secure. See our security controls page.
The Brandts will only review a copy of your profile and will not directly access your account. The session will not be recorded. You can take notes and make screenshots during the session. You can also request that the updated profile be imported back into your account after the session.
Are the Brandts licensed financial planners?
The Brandts are not licensed financial planners. They are long-term experienced power-users of MaxiFi and have helped both households and professionals set up and run their MaxiFi plans. None of the MaxiFi services include investment advice.
